Jose Manuel Taxi Hire:
Our friendly and helpful local taxi driver, Manuel, will organise tours of the Island.
He has a very comfortable six-seater taxi and his charges are very reasonable,
at 110 Euros per day for up to 4 people (65 Euros per half-day),
or 135 Euros per day for 5-6 people ( 75 Euros per half-day).

There are many attractive walks throughout the Island both up and down mountain sides as well as along the rather fascinating īlevadasī.
The web addresses below will take you to any of these delightful walks and the main booking kiosk is very close to our house. Walk down Rua Do Jasmineiro, turn right at the bottom opposite the casino. Then when it is safe to cross the road (about 40 yards along in a Westerly direction) you will find yourself very close to the kiosk. Ask for Mr Nelio Gomes or one of his colleagues and they will be delighted to help.
